Before doing this quest, make sure that you have expanded your slots from 3 to 4. Additionally, if your Renown is at rank B, you can begin promoting any party member you want to. You can expand your units, hire Mercenaries, and promote your allies by spending Honor in Forts you own.

Hilda's Unit

Hilda's unit can take on every enemy class in this stage. She will also be fighting Railanor.

The composition primarily consists of Flying-type allies adept at swiftly dispatching Cavalry and Flying units. Chloe complements this strategy by having skills that are specialized in fighting these enemy units, her Javelin targets flying units specifically, while her Long Thrust deals devastating blows to Cavalries. Additionally, her Keen Call ability ensures your allies will deal critical damage.

Recruiting Hilda

Hilda is a recruitable character and will join the Liberation after having Primm talk to her and finishing the battle in The Champion of Order side quest.

Having Hilda in this unit will make traversing easier, especially in terrains where normal units will have low mobility.

Hilda's unit could handle this stage alone, but the likelihood of taking damage and stamina depletion requires the inclusion of another unit, which is where Scarlett's team comes into play.

Scarlett will be dealing with Gryphon Knights in this battle since the back row of the team is very effective against flying types. Scarlett will also provide Healing Assists to Hilda's team whenever possible.

The Battle for Voryatan Walkthrough

#	Step by Step Guide
1	Start the Mission on the North Entrance There are two entrances to the Voryatan Citadel where you can choose to begin the mission. It is recommended that you start the quest on the entrance up north since you'll be finishing the quest faster this way. Also, you will be avoiding the traps on the south.
2	Deploy and Make Haste Deploy both units. Before proceeding onwards, using a Light Tailfeather is advisable since this will make the mobility of all your units faster and lessen the chance of the Watchtower enemy units using their Valor Skills on you.
3	Defeat Railanor After taking the necessary action, move both units toward Railanor. Have Scarlett's team battle the Gryphon Knight enemy guarding the bridge and Hilda's unit battle the Watchtower enemies. After this, you can ignore the second Watchtower and defeat Railanor now, do so and make sure Scarlett is nearby for her Healing Assist. After successfully defeating Railanor, you will receive an Outlaw's Bracelet.
