Tatiana is told to give up her research and let the Liberation finish it. The clerics are close to finishing the cure and give Alain samples.

We recommend letting Tatiana continue with the experiments so you can recruit her.

Ending the experiments will have the other clerics continue on Tatiana's work and supply you with a sample of 5 Elixrrs, which can revive an ally and heal them to 100% HP.

Tatiana will not be recruited if you choose to end the experiments.

Have the Experiments End to Receive Elixirs for Permadeath Mode

The elixirs you receive for letting the experiments end are rare and powerful items that revive an ally and heal them to 100% HP. These are extremely useful items when playing the True Zenorian Mode of the game. This is, of course, in exchange for not recruiting Tatiana.
