Expand Units in Unicorn Overlord by spending honors at Forts or Cities. See here to know how to expand units and where to expand units!

You can expand units at a Fort by selecting Expand Units. There are two things you can do when expanding units, and it's increasing the maximum size or member capacity of a Unit, and unlocking Unit slots in exchange for Honors.
If you have liberated a City, choose Visit to view the selection menu and choose Enlistment.
Similar to Forts, you get to purchase locked Unit Slots, and also Expand Units in exchange for Honors.
Aside from honors, you're also required to reach certain renown ranks before you can expand a unit or unlock a unit slot. To further expand units, make sure to accomplish the Renown Rank requirements first.
You can get renown by finishing quests, and repairing towns and bridges for the first time.
