How to Recruit Scarlett

Complete The Priestess, Abducted Quest

Scarlett is playable during The Unicorn Ring, where you control Alain, Lex, Josef, and Chloe. However, Scarlett gets abducted during the Quest, Call to Action, and will be unplayable until rescued.

Once you complete The Priestess, Abducted Quest, Scarlett will join your party again.

What Happens if You Do Not Recruit Scarlett?

If you do not recruit and rescue Scarlett, and you start the Quest, Unicorn Overlord, Scarlett will turn into an enemy named Norbelle. This sequence of events leads to Unicorn Overlord's Bad Ending, where Galerius successfully ushers in an age of darkness for Fevrith.

6	Divine Blessing	Divine Blessing can also be set blank, as it only activates at the start of a battle.

As established in the tutorial, Alain and Scarlett make a good combo. When equipped with Scarlett's Ribbon, Scarlett can use Quick Heal to heal Alain through high damage and eliminate tough, Armored enemies with Holy Light.

On the other hand, Alain absorbs the damage for the unit, keeping Scarlett safe in the back row.
