Ask Monica to Fight by Our Side After The Unyielding Shield

Monica can be recruited to the Liberation Army by asking her to Fight by Our Side after defeating her in the quest The Unyielding Shield. Make sure to choose the correct answer if you want this character!
The Unyielding Shield Walkthrough
Defeat the Bandits to Unlock the Side Quest
After the cutscene where Monica is first introduced rescuing the Soldier from the bandits, the Soldier will ask you to rescue his friend who was taken by the bandits. Simply cross the bridge, and head south, into the forest, where you will be ambushed by Level 12 Bandits.
The Cleric will be at the southeastern part of the forest, near the river, and upon defeating the bandits and rescuing the Cleric, the Unyielding Shield side quest will appear on your map.
