As the Tricorns Ride marks the first stage where Bruno will be encountered as an enemy but will eventually become an ally and join the Liberation after the battle.

Before doing this quest, make sure that you have expanded all three of your unit slots from 2 to 3 so you can utilize all your party members in each unit. You can expand your unit slots by spending Honor.

This team is good against Gladiators and Hoplites. Have Alain on the frontlines for defense, his Noble Guard will be very useful here.

Aubin is most effective in stunning the Gladiators but he has low HP so put him in the backrow, Chloe can do piercing damage through enemy rows and can use First Aid at the end of the battle.

Josef's Unit

This team is the Anti-Gladiator team. Have Travis and Lex protect Josef at the back as both of them can defend against enemy attacks pretty easily. Nominate Josef as the unit leader for increased mobility as the terrain is quite big.

Travis can use Passive Steal and absorb the enemy's PP during his attack, making the Gladiators lose their ability to heal at the end of the battle. Lex and Josef will take on the offense to get rid of the Gladiators quickly.

Clive's Unit

This team is the Anti-Gryphon Knights team. Have Hodrick protect both Rolf and Clive. Rolf has an advantage to battling Gryphon Knights, combined with his True Strike ability which never misses.

Clive is weak against Gryphon Knights but Hodrick will have his back whenever the enemy chooses to attack him. Have Clive take the leadership for this unit for advanced movement speed.

As the Tricorns Ride Walkthrough

#	Step by Step Guide
1	Defeat Enemy Units on the Way to the Garrisons Deploy all of your units and have Clive's unit lead the way as you will be encountering a Gryphon team near the first bridge. Defeat all wandering enemy units on the way until you reach a fork in the road.
2	Have Alain's Unit Garrison in Thulust Harbor Alain's Unit will be on a separate journey from here. Have his team defeat the enemy units at Thulust Harbor then garrison inside. Aubin is effective against the Gladiator defending the harbor. After defeating the enemy unit, an NPC will provide you with Smoked Nuts.
3	Defeat the Gryphon Units and Garrison to the Bridge It is time to utilize the effectiveness of Clive's unit. Have his team defeat the Gryphon Knights guarding the first bridge. You may not be able to defeat the enemies at first but this will serve as no problem as you will not receive much damage during battle.
4	Make Josef's Unit Collect the Treasure Josef's Unit will be the one collecting the glowing treasure on the ground nearby. Have him set here and collect War Funds 4000G.
5	Set Alain's Unit for the Second Bridge After garrisoning inside the Harbor, Alain's next destination is the second bridge, which is currently unguarded. Alain's unit will be taking their time on this journey which is manageable since Clive and Josef's Unit will be doing side battles on the right of the bridge.
6	Utilize Josef's Unit to Take on the Watch Tower After meeting on the bridge with Clive's team, both will head to the path on the right to defeat enemies on the Watch Tower and in Fort Mainteneaut. You must prioritize clearing the Watch Tower first as Arrow Assists are imminent when you head to Fort Mainteneaut, putting Clive's team in danger.
7	Use Clive's Unit to Garrison into Fort Mainteneaut When the Watch Tower has been successfully cleared, Clive's Unit can safely head and fight with the enemy unit guarding the Fort. This may take more than one battle so feel free to utilize Clive's and Rolf's Valor Skills if you do not want to engage in another round of battle. While Josef's team is idle, move him to collect the treasure nearby and get a Liquid Fortune.
8	Join Alain on the Way to the Bridge As the Watch Tower and the Fort become liberated, Alain is still on his way to the bridge. Join forces with Alain and this time, make Josef's unit lead the way as you clear enemies on the path.
9	Use Josef's Unit and Head for the Command Post Set Clive's unit to get the treasure on the ground and get a Revival Orb (S). Josef's Unit will be the optimal choice to battle Bruno's team so head on and defeat him. Once Bruno has been defeated, you will receive a Brown Beret as a reward and Bruno will eventually join forces with you.
