How to Recruit Mercenaries

Recruit Mercenaries at a Fort

You can recruit a total of 64 mercenaries at a Fort. However, you should remember that not all classes can be recruited at a single fort.

Each fort will only have a set class of mercenaries that you can hire. This means that if you want to hire mercenaries from specific classes, you'll have to visit different Forts.

How to Assign Mercenaries to Units

Select Mercenaries to Add on Blank Unit Slots

You can assign mercenaries to units by selecting a blank spot on a unit and picking a Mercenary from your arsenal. Take note of the maximum capacity, then assign them there.

Make sure to put your mercenaries in positions that are advantageous to them. Brush up on your Classes knowledge to know which classes are better on the frontline or the back row!

Spend Honors to Unlock Unit Slots and Expand Units

If you ever run out of slots to add your mercenaries in, you can spend Honors at a Fort to unlock more unit slots or expand your units.

Make sure to raise your renown as well. The more renown you have, the better the services you get at forts. This lets you unlock even more unit slots for your army!
