The best unit that suits Hodrick will be having him for protection in the front while the backrow deals serious damage. Berenice and Josef fits like a glove as the backrow for this team.

While Hodrick is responsible for tanking enemy damage with his high DEF and his Heavy Cover passive, Josef will ensure that he will be immune to magick afflictions such as Burn, Freeze, or Poison by using Holy Barrier, making Hodrick an impenetrable defender, and Josef can also Heal Hodrick when necessary. Berenice on the other hand, has extremely high ATK and can also counter attack when her allies are targeted.

Having Hodrick defend both Rolf and Chloe while they deal with Thieves is another unit Hodrick is best fitted in.
