After defeating Mordon in The Battle for Barbatimo, it is recommended to spare Mordon to not only recruit him, but to also unlock the ability to rebuild broken bridges. Executing Mordon rewards you with a measly 30 Honors which can be easily farm through Auxiliary Stages.
