Empower the Unicorn and Maiden Rings
To fully rid of Galerius and Baltro's power, the rings of the Unicorn and Maiden must awaken to their full power.
Unlock the Rings' True Form with the Rite of Covenant
Heed the Great Sage's revelation and seek the true power of the rings within Elheim, the land of the elves. There, you unlock the ability to use the Rite of Covenant, which allows you to select a partner to give the Ring of Maiden.
Completing the Rite of Covenant completes the Unicorn and Maiden Main Quest and rewards you with the rings' true forms.
Rite of Covenant and Romance Guide
Visit All Six Shrines for the Power of Cleansing
After unlocking the rings' true forms, the Main Quest, To the Sanctuaries, will have you visit all six shrines of Fevrith for the Great Sage to endow the rings with the power cleansing.
Emancipate Galerius' Soul
After defeating Galerius in your final battle against him, you are given two choices to end the war against the Zenorian Empire: strike him down or emancipate his soul.
To achieve the true ending, choose to emancipate Galerius' Soul.
The final fight against Galerius and his empire is the battle stage, Unicorn Overlord, in the middle of the Cornia Region.
Defeat Baltro in the Final Battle
After choosing to emancipate Galerius’ soul, Baltro will appear as the true final opponent. Defeat Baltro to conclude the story.
Winning this battle fully resolves the conflict and restores peace to Fevrith. This completes the requirements for the True Ending.
How Many Endings Are There?
Three Endings
There are three main ending paths in Unicorn Overlord.
The ending you receive depends on whether you completed the Rite of Covenant, visited all six shrines, and which choice you made after defeating Galerius.
| Ending | Conditions and Outcome |
|---|---|
| Bad Ending | If you defeat Galerius without performing the Rite of Covenant and without visiting the six shrines, you automatically receive the Bad Ending. Galerius’ spirit possesses Alain, and Fevrith falls into darkness. |
| Normal Ending | If you complete the Rite of Covenant but do not visit all six shrines, defeating Galerius results in the Normal Ending. His spirit attempts to resist, and the resolution is incomplete. |
| True Ending | If you complete the Rite of Covenant, visit all six shrines, choose to emancipate Galerius’ soul, and defeat Baltro, you unlock the True Ending. Fevrith is restored and the story reaches its full conclusion. |
