| Power Level | Overall offensive capabilities of the character. This includes single-target and AOE DPS evaluations. |

| Survivability | Overall durability of the character. Characters who excel in the frontline and protect others are rated highly here. |
| Unit Synergy | Evaluation based on what each character brings to the table. This includes their team leader effect, support and assist effectiveness, and overall synergy with various unit setups. |
| Early Game Performance | Since the demo only covers 30% of the explorable map, we evaluated each recruitable character so far in terms of their early game performance. This includes how easy they recruit and their overall strength out of the gate. |

Alain is a core unit anchor with strong frontline stability. Flexible positioning, works in cavalry, hybrid, or balanced comps, and synergizes well with buffers and healers. His damage is solid but not burst-oriented.
Berengaria is a near-invincible frontline tank. Rarely takes damage and pairs well with high-DPS units.
Cavalry class types such as Josef and Clive deals bonus damage to infantry-type enemies, which will be most of the units you will encounter in the game. Unlike Josef, Clive can be promoted to a more offensive class to deal massive damage to even high Phys. DEF enemies.
Fran, a Gryphon Knight, can inflict a lot of AoE damage and also deals bonus damage to dangerous Cavalry enemies. Hunters can easily counter her, but it can bypass that weakness by stacking a lot of Initiative and going full AoE damage while being supported by an offensive support character.
Sharon is a Cleric and is the perfect user for the Lyrical Wand, a Cleric-exclusive weapon that grants the Active Heal active skill that provides one bonus AP to an ally, which can be great for aggressive team compositions.
Ochlys has high evasion and flight making her excellent at bypassing terrain and traps. Extremely reliable for frontline mobility, crowd control, and support.

Chloe is a well-rounded character that can fit most team compositions and can take on multiple roles.
Auch, Travis, and Yahna are a bit more situational, but can be a devastating addition to a unit in the right scenario.

Lex, Bruno, and Aubin are all infantry classes that can just be outclassed by other classes when it comes to damage or AoE. Generally, they are not good additions to a powerful offensive team as they don't deal any bonus damage or can't protect their offense-oriented ally.
Yunifi delivers high Initiative AoE stuns and works well with AoE crowd control setups.
