Clive (Knight)

	・Amazing single-target DPS. ・Lack of AoE is compensated with strong chain attacks. ・Reliant on clerics to maximize his DPS.

Fran (Gryphon Knight)

	・Great DPS addition to almost every unit setup. ・Self-sustainable through Wing Rest. ・Great AoE and DPS performance. ・Vulnerable to physical ranged DPS classes.

Cavalry class types such as Josef and Clive deals bonus damage to infantry-type enemies, which will be most of the units you will encounter in the game. Unlike Josef, Clive can be promoted to a more offensive class to deal massive damage to even high Phys. DEF enemies.

Fran, a Gryphon Knight, can inflict a lot of AoE damage and also deals bonus damage to dangerous Cavalry enemies. Hunters can easily counter her, but it can bypass that weakness by stacking a lot of Initiative and going full AoE damage while being supported by an offensive support character.

Sharon is a Cleric and is the perfect user for the Lyrical Wand, a Cleric-exclusive weapon that grants the Active Heal active skill that provides one bonus AP to an ally, which can be great for aggressive team compositions.

	・Great single-target DPS. ・Lack of AoE is compensated with strong DPS passives. ・Excels against most tank classes. ・Glass cannon. Make sure you build proper tanks and supports around him.

	・Grants magic damage buffs to her unit. ・Decent single-target DPS ・Mostly effective as a supportive piece only. Underperforms as a main DPS. ・Survivability is pretty low. Requires decent tanks and healers to stay up, even if positioned in the backline.

Alain and Chloe are well-rounded characters that can fit most team compositions and can take on multiple roles.

Auch, Travis, and Yahna are a bit more situational, but can be a devastating addition to a unit in the right scenario.

B Tier Characters

	・Decent frontline presence, with good survivability. ・Provides good defense against physical ranged attacks. ・Mediocre damage ・Liability against magic classes. ・High survivability only applies to himself. Cannot defend the unit from most attacks.

Bruno (Gladiator)

	・Good AoE DPS. ・Decent single-target DPS. ・Heavy reliance on support classes to maximize his performance. ・One-dimensional.

Aubin (Housecarl)

	・Decent AoE and single-target DPS. ・Can stun enemies once he hits level 10. ・Mediocre counter tank pre-level 15. ・Defensive liability against Magic classes. ・Weak defensive stat scaling early on.

Lex, Bruno, and Aubin are all infantry classes that can just be outclassed by other classes when it comes to damage or AoE. Generally, they are not good additions to a powerful offensive team as they don't deal any bonus damage or can't protect their offense-oriented ally.
