To start the Drakenhold's Escaped Chickens quest, you'll have to travel to Ganrafeldt Town and talk to one of the townspeople with an exclamation mark.
You can get to the town of Ganrafeldt after completing the Beyond the Swirling Sands side quest.

The main objective is to capture the four escaped chickens, which are located just around Ganrafeldt Town. The task seems simple enough, but do not be misled, as the chickens can be tricky to capture!
The best way to catch them is by approaching them slowly so as to prevent them from getting startled and running away. If you fail to catch a chicken and they disappear, simply keep a good distance, and they should spawn again after a while.

Note: All four chickens are just roaming near the town of Ganrafeldt.
After catching all the chickens, proceed back to the quest giver to get your rewards. One particular item to look forward to is the Golden Egg, which allows you to gain more gold in combat.
