In its Normal State, the Feral Great Izuchi will have two Izuchi allies who will unleash mainly Speed Attacks. The Feral Great Izuchi will also launch strong single target skills, Rock Spit and Feral Thousand Blades, the second of which may cause Bleed and will apply Wyvernsoul Def Down to itself.
After coming from the Enraged State, it will use Pack Call in the Normal State to call another set of Izuchi allies if players have defeated both of the Izuchi previously.

Boltreaver Astalos

Tobi-Kadachi

Purple Gypceros
|
The Feral Great Izuchi is weak to Thunder Element Attacks, so having Monsties like Boltreaver Astalos or even a Tobi-Kadachi, is enough to defeat it. Additionally, players can opt to use a Purple Gypceros to take advantage of the Monster's weakness to Darkness with the skill Flash.

The Feral Great Izuchi will be at level 20 so, it is recommended that you and your roster be at least level 17 when facing it.

Have Lightning type weapons like the Spark Slicer to take advantage of the boss' weakness to the element.
List of All Weapons

Because the Feral Great Izuchi can boost the Attack of all of its allies during its Enraged state, try to eliminate the Izuchi before then.
These enemies should be relatively easy to defeat in a few turns so focus on them first before targetting the central boss.

In addition to the previous tip, using AoE Thunder Attacks is extremely helpful during this fight since there are multiple enemies on the field who are all weak to Thunder.
Avoid attacking the Feral Great Izuchi's Tail during the Normal State as this will cause a strong counterattack that can deplete your allies' or your own health.
The Feral Great Izuchi is encountered during the Transgressors Main Quest. In the quest, the group of rangers finally reach Canalta Timberland and encounter the Monster shortly after arriving.
