A Step Toward Conservation Objectives

• After speaking with the Worrywart Field Researcher, search for Rathian Eggs in Sunpetal Plains.
• First Option: Search the monster dens directly. Loot the nests for a chance to get a Rathian Egg. Rathian Eggs are white with green stripes.
• Second Option: Defeat a Rathian and make it retreat. After it retreats go to the den that will be green on your map, this will guarantee a Rathian Egg.
• You will need 3-4 Rathians to raise the habitat to S. Once you have collected all your eggs go to the Sunpetal Plains Camp.
• Go to the tent and select Stables. Hatch all of your Rathian Eggs.
• After hatching the Rathian, go to the Habitat Restoration option. Select the Sunpetal Plains and release all the Rathians you collected.
• After getting the S Habitat Rank, go back to the Worrywart Field Researcher and speak with him to complete the quest.

A Step Toward Conservation is unlocked in the quest menu after completing the Main Quest The Princess of Vermeil. Speak with the Worrywart Field Researcher in the Sunpetal Plains Camp. He will be standing outside the tent.

• Painball Recipe x1
• Paintball x1
• 700 Gold Trade Points

Unlocks Rathian Mutations

Rathian Mutation
Raising the Rathian's habitat rank to S unlocks the Pink and Dreadqueen Rathian Mutation. This will allow you to get Mutated Rathian Eggs in Dens within Sunpetal Plains in Azuria.
