An Adventuring State of Mind Objectives

• After speaking with the Uninspired Novelist, hunt down the Invasive Plesioth.
• You can find the Invasive Plesioth in a cave north of Mirror Lake, it only appears at night time so use the Catavan Stand to change the time. Near the Island where the stand is follow the river north to get to the cave.
• The Invasive Plesioth is a challenging figh at the start of its turn it will have armor on its body mitigating most damage. Charged amd piercing attacks work well against this.
• After the Armor is broken you will need to target specific parts of the Invasive Plesioth to do effective damage. Target its head to break it quickly, this will force the Plesioth to retreat. Using Fire against it is also effective.
• After defeating the Invasive Plesioth, defeat the feral monsters in Mirror Lake, this will unlock the ability to raise its habitat rank to unlock the mutation. Release the Lagiacrus so it can begin breeding in Mirror Lake.
• Once the mutation is unlocked gather an Ivory Lagiacrus Egg and hatch it.
• Mount your Ivory Lagiacrus and return to the Uninspired Novelist to complete the quest.

An Adventuring State of Mind is unlocked in the quest menu while you are progressing the Main Quest Amara's Child. Speak with the Uninspired Novelist near the lake shore beside the Broadleaf Basin Lookout Point.
