Bloodbath Diablos

Deviljho

The Bound Azure Rathalos will be quite resistant to most elements but very weak against Dragon skills. The Deviljiho and the Bloodbath Diablos make for good options in this regard because of the skills they are able to use. The Bloodbath Diablos also has a good resistance against the Monster's Fire type skills.

Bound Azure Rathalos will be at level 67. Make sure your party is prepared with equipment, skills and levelled up to at least Level 60.
Since the Bound Azure Rathalos can switch forms and change to all types of attacks during head to heads, Technical, Power, and Speed, make sure to equip your Monsties and roster with a wide variety of skills to counter these.
Switch them out at appropriate turns to successfully win the head to heads.
All Monster Weaknesses and Attack Types
This fight can be difficult because of the powerful attacks the Bound Azure Rathalos unleashes even in a single turn. Make sure to stock up on and use heals to keep your party alive. In addition to this, some of its skills can cause Burn so bring items that can cure it.

The Magia Charm is a powerful weapon that can help with boosting team stats as well as heal, and even recover hearts. In addition to this, make sure to take advantage of the Bound Azure Rathalos' weakness to Dragon and equip Dragon element weapons like the Veldian Ensis, Ravenous Gunlance or Duke's Sinclair.

The Rathalos Armor is the perfect option for this fight as it is highly resistant to Fire and has the Soul Kinship M passive which helps in filling the Kinship gauge.

Try to inflict Darkness during the Bound Azure Rathalos' Normal and Enraged (Airborne) States to help increase the chances of attacks missing. This will be especially helpful in avoiding damage from attacks like Inferno Breath.
Players can also inflict this through the use of Flash Bombs which is easily accessible through the Combine Menu.
During the Battle-Bound (Unleashed), after the Bound Azure Rathalos unleashes the consecutive combo of Ignition Fang and Inferno Breath, make sure to attack it with high damage in the next turn. This is because it applies Defense Down to itself right after these attacks.

Infernal Judge can easily reduce the hearts of multiple members of your party so save your Kinship skill until the Bound Azure Rathalos is in the Battle-Bound (Airborne) State to interrupt its attack.
Help fill the Kinship Gauge faster by equipping Solar Cry onto your Monsties. This will help you more consistently interrupt powerful attacks.
The Bound Azure Rathalos is encountered during the Machinations Main Quest. In the quest, the group ventures deeper with the Terra Nativitas and finds the Monster within a clearing.
