Bound Lunagaron's primary state during the middle and latter part of the battle willl be its Battle-Bound Unleashed state. It will engage with Technical Attacks during head to heads.
Aside from this it will occasionally launch consecutive attacks, which will consist mostly of Mud Torrent and a skill like Rising Shot or Silver Breath.
Lastly, it will use the move Thunder Aura L in the previous turn before launching a very powerful AoE attack, Railgun. It will repeatedly do so until the attack unleashes.
Deviljho

Espinas

The Bound Lunagaron will be primarily in the Battle-Bound (Unleashed) state during the mid to latter part of the fight where it will be very weak to the Dragon element and neutral with the Fire element. It will have high resistance against all other attack elements. We recommend Monsties like Deviljho or Espinas as they have high HP and good damage.
Keep in mind however of the Deviljho's weakness to Thunder so make sure to switch them out before the Bound Lunagaron unleashes Railgun.

Bound Lunagaron will be at level 68 so, make sure your party is well-prepared. We recommend that you and your roster are levelled up to at least Level 60.
During the fight, Bound Lunagaron can unleash consecutive attacks or powerful oneshots. Make sure to prepare weapons with healing capabilities or purchase healing items to avoid losing all of your hearts.

Although the Bound Lunagaron will initially use Ice element moves, it will later on use strong Water and Thunder type skills. Prepare your Monsties with Genes can help reduce the damage received from these attacks.
Additionally, equip armor like the Barioth or Malzeno Armor that can help cover resistances for multiple elements (Ice, Water, Thunder) alongside having high defense.

Since the Bound Lunagaron will be highly resistant to all ailments during its third state, it is recommended to either increase Dodge Up or inflict Accuracy Down so that it misses some of its strong attacks. Players can do this with the use of battle skills or weapon skills like Accuracy Down Coating on the bow and arrow.

Ogden makes for an excellent ally during this battle as he can both heal and increase the party's Dodge Up status. He makes it less likely for your team to fall against the boss' strong attacks.
List of All Characters and Companions
The Bound Lunagaron will keep trying to unleash consecutive attacks or powerful attacks like Railgun to unleash massive damage. Try to interrupt these attacks by saving and timing the use of your Kinship Skill.

Solar Cry is an extremely helpful Egg skill to have that will help you more consistently interrupt powerful attacks through filling up your Kinship Gauge faster.

The Bound Lunagaron can change to all types of attacks during head to heads depending on its state. Make sure to either switch out your Monstie or use the correct Attack type, Technical, Power, and Speed, to gain the boost and avoid massive damage.
All Monster Weaknesses and Attack Types
The Bound Lunagaron is encountered during the In Her Footsteps Main Quest. During the quest, the protagonist ventures deeper within the cave at Terra Nativitas after defeating the Bound Azure Rathalos and encounters the Monster suddenly.
