In Monster Hunter Stories 3, you can change your character’s appearance by approaching the Chest at the Azuria Castle: Base, near the Catavan Stand. Learn how to change your appearance and clothes in this guide!

You can approach the huge Chest in Azuria Castle: Base at the early parts of the story. This will enable you to customize your character to your own liking!

Change Appearance

Changing your appearance will require you to navigate the Basic Settings, which is composed of Body Type, Color Sets, Show Childhood Looks, and even Change Name. This will allow you to traverse each set of features that can customize your character however you want.

Take note that the Edit Ranger option also appears before the story starts, as the game will allow you to choose either the Prince or the Princess to customize!

Change Clothes

There is also the Change Clothes Option, which is composed of Change Colors/Layers to your character and the Change Companion Outfit for your party members. For your character, you can choose colors and types for your Layered Armor.

Companion Outfits are also available from the Deluxe and Premium Deluxe Editions of Monster Hunter Stories 3. The roster includes special clothes such as the Regal Aspect and Smooth Sailing for Rudy, as well as the Layered Armor Royal Flair for Eleanor!
