How to Catch Exotic Velocidrome
Intercept the Exotic Velocidrome's Path
You will see the Exotic Velocidrome running around the tree. This monster will be too fast for you to catch. This monster will only spawn during Ogden's Side Story, Chapter 1.
The Velocidrome will run on the same route over and over again, observe its path, and place yourself in front of it to intercept the monster. It will be helpful to use a large mount for this so there's a higher chance of collision.

The battle clue recommends taking advantage of Double Attacks to beat the Exotic Velocidrome's speed.
Use Double Attacks to Guarantee a Hit
The Exotic Velocidrome is very fast, and will often evade your attacks. Take advantage of Double Attacks to guarantee a hit against it. This monster uses Power Attacks.
Use Status Ailments to Deal Continous Damage
Since getting a hit in is hard, use attacks that deal status ailments to make them count. Poison is highly recommended since it deals a consistent damage over time.

Completing Ogden's Side Story Chapter 2
Defeating the Exotic Velocidrome will complete Ogden's Side Story Chapter 1. Completing this quest will give you the following rewards:
