Ward is a main story that will require you to follow ward statues to progress through Monster Hunter Stories 3 (MHS3). Learn more about Transgressors, its objectives, statue locations, rewards, and how to unlock with this guide!

At the end of the trail, you will find a dirt mound where you can execute the Ground Dive riding action using the Canyne.
Ward Objectives
- Talk to Rudy and Master Kol in the Sheparden
- Investigate the Invasive Arzuros in Blessing Hill
- Enter the Endangered Den
- Follow the Ward Statues to Mt. Canalta
- Defeat the Feral Aknosom
Talk to Rudy and Master Kol in the Sheparden
To progress through the Transgressors main story quest, talk to Rudy in the northern part of Sheparden. From there, talk to Master Kol in the western part of Sheparden.
Go to Blessing Hill to Investigate the Invasive Arzuros
You will be tasked with investigating an Invasive Arzuros in Blessing Hill, which can be located in the southern edge of Canalta Timberland. Once you are close to the objective, you will be prompted to switch to night time.
Make sure to bring a Fire Monstie to effectively attack the Invasive Arzuros. You will need to continuously deplete its Wyvernsoul Gauge to wear out its Honey supply.
Enter the Endangered Den
Upon defeating the Invasive Arzuros, enter the nearby Endangered Den and pick up the Canyne Egg. From here, return to Sheparden and talk to Master Kol.
Follow the Ward Statues to Mt. Canalta
Master Kol will instruct you to follow the Ward Statues, which will lead you to Mt. Canalta. You will need to ride the Canyne for its Ground Dive riding action, which will let you go through shortcuts in the new area.
Defeat the Feral Aknosom
As you go deeper into Mt. Canalta, you will find more and more Crystallization. At the end, you will encounter the Feral Aknosom.
It is highly recommended to bring Monsties with Lightning or Darkness attacks to effectively take down the monster.
How to Unlock Ward
Enter the Sheparden
