❖ Select a weapon to see more details.

The Bow is a Pierce-type weapon that focuses on applying status effects and debuffs while dealing steady damage during combat.
Its core mechanic revolves around the Charge Gauge, which increases when using certain bow skills or attacks. As the gauge fills, the Bow’s abilities become stronger and improve the effectiveness of applied status effects.
Many Bow attacks apply coatings or status effects such as Paralysis, Bleeding, or Sleep. These effects can weaken monsters or create opportunities for allies to deal additional damage.
| Bow Strengths |
|---|
|
|

The Bow excels at applying status effects and debuffs to monsters.
These effects can weaken enemies, reduce their accuracy, or temporarily disable them, making fights easier for the entire party.
As the Bow’s Charge Gauge fills, many of its attacks become stronger and increase the effectiveness of applied status effects.
Managing this gauge effectively allows players to maximize both damage and utility.
As a Pierce weapon, the Bow performs well when targeting monster parts that are weak to piercing attacks.
This allows players to break certain monster parts more efficiently during combat.
| Bow Weaknesses |
|---|
|
|

Many of the Bow’s strongest attacks require higher Charge Gauge levels to reach their full potential.
Without building charge first, some abilities may deal reduced damage or apply weaker effects.
While the Bow provides excellent utility and ranged pressure, its raw damage output is generally lower than heavier weapons such as the Great Sword or Hammer.
Because of this, the Bow often relies on status effects and sustained attacks rather than single powerful strikes.
