| Unlock Condition |  Complete the Main Quest Amara's Child and speak with Rudy in Azuria Castle. |

Chapter 1 Walkthrough
| # | Objective |
|---|---|
| 1 |  Speak with Gaul at the base and choose Side Story. After the cutscene, you will be teleported to the Sunpetal Plains Camp. Follow the quest waypoint north of the camp near the small lake. At the location, speak with Lievin. |
| 2 |  Follow the medical corps to the Mirror Lake. Near the south bank of the lake, look for the injured medical corps member, Georgio. |
| 3 |  Choose a swimming Monstie if you plan on coming from the shore of Mirror Lake, another option is to use a flying Monstie to ride the wind currents. head towards the island where the Mirror Lake Catavan Stand is. Near the Monstie Den, speak with the injured Nazner. |
| 4 |  After the cutscene, you will be pulled into a battle with a Purple Ludroth. This montie mainly uses Power attacks in its normal state and deals damage with poison. Make sure to have items that can recover or prevent this status ailment. |
| 5 |  Watch the final cut scene after defeating the Purple Ludroth to end the quest. |

Chapter 2 Walkthrough
| # | Objective |
|---|---|
| 1 |  Speak with Gaul at the Base and choose Side Story. After the cutscene, speak with Kol in Sheparden. Find the Felyne Search party in the Cataracts, near the Lookout point. |
| 2 |  Go to the highest point in Canalta Timberland to try and spot the Yian Garuga. Use the Mt. Canalta Catavan Stand to teleport to the top of Mt. Canalta. From there continue climbing up to the waypoint. |
| 3 |  After the cutscene, examine the item on the ground. walk to the ledge and drop into the hole at the very bottom, leading to the Frozen Grotto. |
| 4 |  Inside the Frozen Grotto, look for the blue sparking items and examine each one. The first clue will be near the entrance of the Grotto. The second Clue will be near the Camp. |
| 5 |  Following the right path from the camp, you will find the 4th clue. At the end of this path, in the dead end where the rare monster den is, you'll find the missing man. Defeat the Tetranadon to rescue him. |
| 6 |  The Tetranadon uses Power-Based attacks when it's normal, during its transformation, it uses Technical. This monster is also weak to most elements, with Electric being the most effective one. After defeating the monster, watch the cutscene to end the quest. |

Chapter 3 Walkthrough

| 1 |  Speak with Gaul at the base and choose Side Story. After the cutscene, head towards the Ministry of Eggs inside Galyad and speak with the Guild Collector. After another cutscene, head towards the egg quartz dig site by speaking with Catba's Subordinate at the docks and heading to the Bountiful Dunes. |
| 2 |  Travel to the Lookout Point Oasis, then head towards the dig site east of this location. Southwest of the cavern, you will see a side entrance into a cavern at the Dig Site. |
| 3 |  Inside the cave, investigate the Egg Quartz inside. This will trigger an encounter with the Shrouded Nerscylla. |
| 4 |  The Shrouded Nerscylla uses Shrouded Attacks when it is normal, and Speed Attacks when transformed, like a normal Nerscylla. This monster attacks with poison, so make sure to have an item that can either cure or negate this. |
| 5 |  After defeating the Shrouded Nerscylla, go back to Galyad and return to the Guild Collector at the Ministry of Eggs to end the quest. |
As A Friend
| Unlock Condition |  Defeat the Feral Blangonga and set up your first camp at the Glacial Caps in Serathis to unlock Chapter 4. You will need to go back to a base in another region to take on the quest. |

Chapter 4 Walkthrough

| 1 |  Speak with Gaul at a base, then choose Side Story. After the cutscene, speak with Catba's subordinate to travel to the Bountiful Dunes. |
| 2 |  Head to the base of the spiral by running East of Bountiful Dunes until you reach the long bridge. Run to the center and drop into the hole beneath it, then follow the path to exit the cave. |
| 3 |  Near the entrance of the cave, interact with Manny lying on the ground. After the cutscene, they will tell you Gaul's location. |
| 4 |  Travel to Rococo Rocks and speak with the Felyne Milly on one of the high pillars. She will tell you to find Gaul in Glacial Caps. |
| 5 |  At the glacial caps, travel to the Ice Shelf and speak with the nearby Felyne, Murray. |
| 6 |  Look for the Ice-Capped Citadel near the center of the Glacial Caps, you'll find Gayl facing off against a Honed Glavenus. |
| 7 |  The Honed Glavenus uses Speed attacks in its normal state, Technical during Overheated (Throat), and Power during Overheated (Tail). It uses poison in its attacks, so it's a good idea to have something to either heal or mitigate its effects. It is also a good idea to equip Fire-resistant gear to help against its attacks. The quest ends after watching the cutscene that plays after defeating the Honed Glavenus. |
