Topple a Monster

Toppled Opponent
To activate a Synchro Rush, you must first topple a Monster by reducing their Wyvernsoul Gauge or Stock to zero. Afterward, a button prompt will immediately appear that you can press to use Synchro Rush on the toppled Monster.

However, you can avoid using a Synchro Rush by not pressing the button and letting the prompt pass.

When to Synchro Rush

Avoid Synchro Rush If You Still Have Stamina

Avoid Using Synchro Rush
While Synchro Rush may seem strong, you can deal the same amount of damage while setting up Status Ailments and breaking a Monster's body parts using your Weapon Skills, so focus on attacking the toppled Monster with your skills instead.

Don't Activate if You Want to Heal

Use Healing Item
You can also avoid using Synchro Rush if you need to heal or buff your party up, as the Monster will remain Toppled, giving you a free turn to use Items or Skills without the risk of being attacked.

Use Synchro Rush When You Can't Use Skills

Synchro Rush
When you run out of stamina, Synchro Rush may be your only option to deal high damage, so it is recommended to use it during these instances.
