Wyvernsoul Gauge Guide

A Wyvernsoul Gauge is the enemy Monster's bar indicating their endurance, which you have to deplete to win battles. Learn more about the Wyvernsoul Gauge and how to lessen it in this guide!

What is the Wyvernsoul Gauge?

Enemy's Endurance Level

Wyvernsoul Gauge

The Wyvernsoul Gauge is a separate meter from the enemy Monster's health bar and represents their endurance. When faced with a strong enemy, focus on landing your attacks to deplete the Wyvernsoul Gauge, which can give you the advantage in battle.

How to Reduce Wyvernsoul Gauge

Use Active Skills and Hammer

Hammer

Your Active Skills, together with your weapons, can be used interchangeably to lessen the enemy's Wyvernsoul Gauge. The most effective weapon for this function is the Hammer, since it is specifically designed to deal heavy damage to the gauge!

Trigger Double Attacks

Double Attacks

Double Attacks can occur when you and your Monstie targeting the same opponent win a Head-to-Head. Channeling double attacks also increases the chances of toppling the enemy.

Attack While Riding

Another way to lessen the Wyvernsoul Gauge is to attack the opponent while riding your Monstie. Attacking them in this state can inflict great damage to the Gauge and eventually fill up your members' Kinship Gauges.

Activate and Execute Kinship Skills

Kinship Skills

Kinship Skills are powerful attacks that can inflict heavy damage to the opponent, and will require the members to charge the Kinship Gauge by landing attacks successfully. The Kinship Skill can be done by one party member or enter Dual Kinship if two members' gauges are charged.

What Happens When You Break the Wyvernsoul Gauge?

Topple Triggers on Monster

Toppled Opponent

When you break a Monster's Wyvernsoul Gauge during the battle, Topple activates, causing the Monster to turn over. You can follow this up with a Synchro Rush, which you can activate to deal damage. However, it is only recommended to trigger it if your Stamina is running out.

Wyvernsoul Stock Appears

Wyvernsoul Stock

Some monsters have a red orb on the left side of their Wyvernsoul Gauge, indicating that it still has a reserve of energy left. When their Wyvernsoul Gauge has been completely depleted, it will be replaced by a blue gauge called the Wyvernsoul Stock. Reduce the meter once again to finally defeat the enemy!
