There are players currently experiencing a bug in Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2 where the Social menu isn't working and they can't invite friends in their parties. Read on to learn more about this bug and how to work around it.

Can't Invite Friends Bug
Brings Back Players to Main Menu
There are currently reports of players experiencing a bug where they get sent back to the main menu when they use the Friends List to invite friends. This bug affects those playing either Modern Warfare 2 or Warzone 2.0.
Solution is Currently Being Investigated
Infinity Ward has acknowledged on their Trello Board the Social menu not working as a global issue and is currently investigating possible solutions. Check back soon for a possible fix!
How to Fix
Join Through Channels
Players can work around this bug by asking their party members to join via the Channels feature. You can find this at the top right hand corner of your screen with the headphones icon.
In a recent tweet, Infinity Ward announced that its latest update has fixed this issues. Players can now access the social menu in both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0.
How to Create Channels

| 2 |  Add a Channel name |
| 3 |  Invite your friends to join that Channel and you should be able to play with them |

Anonymous about 3 yearsHow does this work when I’m trying to invite friends that are on different consoles? I’m not seeing them as able to join my channel. I’m only seeing my friends that are also on Xbox

It doesn't work with cross play friends. I'm on playstation and I can't invite my friend on Xbox. I can see him on my friends but he can't see me and they aren't getting my invites.
