Description | Proximity-activated explosive mine. |
Claymore is a proximity-activated explosive that can instantly kill an enemy unless they have the Bomb Squad Perk active. It doesn't have a short activation time unlike the Proximity Mine, making it more difficult to dodge and evade.
You can effectively take out an opponent if you place it behind doors and passageway blindspots. Players seem to rush on those locations, making them fall victim to your Claymore easily.

Players with Spotter Bonus Perk equipped can hack Claymore on the ground and make it their own. Just make sure you sneak up on it behind it's sensor (two laser points) to prevent it from exploding as you hack it!
Claymore can explode even if someone didn't get near it, destroying it in the process. You can shoot or throw another explosive near the Claymore to scrap it. It might also kill nearby enemies from the explosion, so it's worth a try!
DDOS is capable of disabling a Claymore momentarily. You can use it to pass by safely, hack it, or completely destroy it. However, you need to be near the Claymore, so you can disable it using the DDOS field upgrade!
