How to Play

This Riot Shield loadout can be played either as an aggressive entry role or passive support role. For the first option, Riot Shield users can effectively push objectives in capture-and-hold game modes without dying as long as their backside is not exposed. Players opting for a more supportive role may serve as cover for teammates, baiting enemies with the Riot Shield as squadmates pick them off.

When engaging enemies inside buildings, make use of your flash grenade before switching over to your second primary weapon. The Expedite 12 is a great option for this loadout as it offers impressive time-to-kill at point blank range. The Fast Hands perk will allow you to use equipments and switch out weapons faster so make sure to have this equipped.

Since the Riot Shield shines in close range battles, set a Tactical Insertion close to enemy spawns whenever it is available. The Riot Shield eliminates hostiles in 2 hits so catching them off guard by being at their spawn can be an effective way to guarantee kills. If you find difficulty getting close to enemies, use the C4 when they stop shooting or reload their weapon to pick them off.
