Modern Warfare 2 - Seasonal Prestige

Seasonal Prestige (also known as Seasonal Progression) is returning to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (MW2 2022). Read on to learn more about the new Prestige system and what to expect when it returns to the game.

New Seasonal Prestige System Details

Maintain a Prestige Rank across All Seasons

Seasonal Prestige
The key selling point of the revamped Seasonal Prestige system is that you can earn and maintain a Prestige Rank across all seasons. In other words, your Prestige Rank does not reset after each season.

Unlock Challenges and Rewards

Players will unlock Prestige 1 at Rank 56, and from there will be able to accept challenges to earn rewards. Additionally, players will earn an Emblem and additional rewards with Prestige 1.

Season 1 Goes Up to Prestige 5

Prestige Rank
Prestige 1 Rank 56
Prestige 2 Rank 100
Prestige 3 Rank 150
Prestige 4 Rank 200
Prestige 5 Rank 250

At the end of Season 1, you will be able to continue ranking up from where you left off, meaning you won't have to unlock the same Prestige again in Season 2.

Seasonal Prestige Release Date

Seasonal Prestige Will Be Available from November 16, 2022

Modern Warfare 2 - Invasion

The first major update for Modern Warfare 2 drops on November 16, and with it comes the new Seasonal Prestige system. Players can complete more difficult objectives and earn more XP rewards with the different Prestige Level milestones.
