Talk to Chadwick in Dream's Edge

To start The Trees At Peace, teleport to Dream's Edge using the Space Anchor called The Family's Construction Authority and then head south until you see an old man sitting on a bench. Talk to him to progress the mission.

Listen to Clockie

After talking to Chadwick, go to Clockie who is standing beside the Verdant Manager and then talk to them. Clockie will then mention that Chadwick is missing something.

Go Back to Chadwick

After your conversation with Clockie, return to Chadwick and then talk to him again. You will have to give him an Angry Gear to unlock his Emo Dial.

If you do not have one, you can absorb the emotions of the family to the right of the Space Anchor called The Family's Construction Authority.

Travel to the Herta Space Station

After talking to Chadwick, the Trailblazer will contact Herta to ask her something about Chadwick. Herta will then tell you to go back to her space station. You can find Herta and Screwllum in the Simulated Universe room in the Master Control Zone.

Teleport to The Reverie (Reality)

After talking to both members of the Genius Society, go to The Reverie (Reality) using the Space Anchor called Hotel Lobby and then confront the Bloodhound Family with Screwllum.

Head to Chadwick's Room

After the interaction with the Bloodhound Family, head to Chadwick's room using the Space Anchor called VIP Lounge and then follow the waypoint in-game. After you reach his room, talk to Moira at the door.

Search for Evidence Inside the Room

Once inside the room, investigate the fireplace, suitcase, and the Dreampool. Then, talk to Screwllum in order to receive the Medicine of Unknown Use.

Enter Chadwick's Emoscape

To progress the mission, go back to Chadwick's location in Dream's Edge and then enter his Emoscape. Most enemies in it are weak to Ice, Fire, and Physical. So, bring characters from those elements. Once inside, simply follow the waypoint shown in-game.

Battle Several Stings

Eventually, you will have to battle some Juvenile Sting and Gnaw Sting. Just focus on one of them since they will explode when defeating them. After the battle, continue following the waypoint.

Witness Chadwick's Experiences

You will then encounter some Grunt - Security Personnel while progressing the mission, you can ignore them if you want. After meeting up with Dudley and Chadwick, you will then be asked to detonate the Imaginary Pulse.

Choosing Not to Detonate the Bomb

Initially, you can choose not to detonate the bomb. However, repeatedly choosing this option will not progress the mission. Eventually, you have to hit the detonate button. After detonating the bomb, re-enter Chadwick's Emoscape and then talk to him.

Find the First Puzzle Piece

After touching Screwllum's puzzle pieces, turn to your left and then activate the pathway. After that, obtain charges from the Bubble Tower nearby and then walk on the wall in front.

Next, run towards the nearest wall and then walk on it to get the first puzzle piece. If possible, do not fight the Grunt - Security Personnel nearby.

Find the Second Puzzle Piece

After obtaining the first puzzle piece, return to the Bubble Tower that you used before. Then, return to the area where the first puzzle piece was located.

This time, run towards the wall in the top left corner of the room and then walk on it. Finally, pick up the second puzzle piece.

Find the Third Puzzle Piece

After picking up the second one, run to the Bubble Tower in front of you and then obtain some charges again. Then, walk on the wall in front. Finally, run towards the top right corner of the room and then walk on another wall. Pick up the last piece once you see it.

Complete Screwllum's Puzzle

Once you have all the puzzle pieces, retrace your steps to get back to Screwllum's puzzles. Follow the video above to solve it!

Search for Clues Around the Study

After being teleported in the study, investigate the clues in it. The clues are in the safe below the bookcase, the books on the ground, and the letters on the desk. When you are done investigating them, talk to Chadwick for an interaction to trigger.

Travel to the Seclusion Zone

Finally, teleport to the Seclusion Zone by clicking the waypoint on your map and then teleporting to it. Once you are there, meet up with Screwllum and Herta for another interaction to trigger.

After the interaction ends, the last objective of the mission is to deactivate the life support devices. Successfully doing this will end the mission!
