How to Beat Middleweight on Day 4

Bring a Shielder to Quickly Stack Buffs

We recommend bringing a shielder for this division since one of the two ways for allies to gain a stack of Overbreathing is when they receive a shield.

Having a full stack of the buff at the last round will greatly increase your team's damage output! Trailblazer (Fire) is the best shielder for Middleweight because of their offense-based kit.

Avoid Using Auto-Battle

The Sudden Impact buff replenishes your characters' Ultimate immediately after reaching 3 and 6 stacks of Overbreathing.

When auto-battle is on, the game will use Ultimates inefficiently. This is especially true when the feature mindlessly uses Ultimates like the one that Seele has!

Quantum and Physical DPS

Quantum and Physical DPS
Seele	Clara	Bronya	Trailblazer (Fire)

The main buff for Middleweight is Overbreathing, which you earn during the 2nd round. At the final round, stacking it will allow your characters to gain a huge amount of CRIT Rate and spam their Ultimates.

With this, a shielder is a must to help the team stack Overbreathing.

Alternative Characters

Character	Merits
Sushang	DPS Replacement You can replace Clara with Sushang since she is also a strong DPS character who specializes in dealing a lot of Physical damage.
Yanqing	DPS Replacement Ice is not one of the recommended elements for Middleweight but he is the only single-target DPS who has a CRIT-based kit. With this, he can greatly benefit from the buffs earned from this division.
Dan Heng	DPS Replacement A lot of enemies in this division are weak to Wind which means that Dan Heng can also replace Sushang as your team's second DPS.
Gepard	Shielder Replacement Gepard is the Trial Character for Middleweight. While Trailblazer (Fire) is the better offensive option, Gepard is still a good pick for this tournament if you don't have the Trailblazer leveled up!
Tingyun	Support Replacement If you don't have Bronya, using Tingyun is a great alternative, as she grants an attack buff for her allies.
Asta	Support Replacement Asta can also be the team's support since she grants speed and attack boost which will also be helpful for this division.

Having Gepard is enough for the team to survive even without a healer. Dan Heng is a great DPS pick since a lot of enemies are weak to wind.

Also, the Trailblazer can dish out Physical AoE damage when needed and Asta can help the team with her buffs!

Alternatively, you can swap out Trailblaze (Physical) for Qingque. Then, replace Gepard with Trailblazer (Fire)!
