When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Halloween Freyja are +Spd and -Res. With base 49 Spd, raised to 53 with a superboon, Halloween Freyja is among the fastest units in the game. Retaining her Spd edge over all the other fast metagame units is key and will help Freyja more than any other boon.
Halloween Freyja's bulk isn't anything noteworthy. We recommend -Res as a bane as it is her least important stat.
We recommend +Spd when merging Halloween Freyja up to +10 to ensure she remains the fastest unit on the battlefield.

Halloween Freyja's base kit is already good to go as an offensive unit. Spd/Res Tempo 3 is used to ensure she charges up Comet due to its high cooldown.

Halloween Freyja is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.
Halloween Freyja's exclusive tome Nightmare Staff grants 【Dodge】 to Freyja, and inflicts Spd/Res-7, 【Sabotage】, and Null Miracle to the closest foes and nearby foes at the start of each turn.
In combat, Nightmare Staff grants Freyja up to Atk/Spd/Def/Res+14, bonus Atk equal to 4x her maximum Special cooldown count, and true damage reduction equal to 20% of her Spd.
More importantly, if Freyja wins a Spd check, Nightmare Staff disables her foe's Specials, preventing them from triggering. This effect is the most important effect in Freyja's entire kit, as it can completely neuter enemies reliant on Specials to deal relevant damage.
Nightmare Staff heavily defines Halloween Freyja as a unit and gives her an important niche, making her worth using over other options.
Halloween Freyja's exclusive B skill Haunting Choker inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-5, halves percentage-based damage reduction effects, and reverses visible bonuses (by inflicting an equal amount of in-combat stat penalties and granting similar in-combat bonuses to the foe) for all foes within 3 rows and 3 columns centered on Freyja.
This is an amazing support effect, heavily skewing combat in your team's favor and can be applied from long distances.
In combat, Haunting Choker inflicts up to Spd/Res-12 onto Freyja's foe (based on Bonus and Penalty effects), grants Freyja a Null Follow-Up effect, up to +60% damage reduction and up to +9 true damage reduction (also based on Bonus and Penalty effects), and 7 HP post-combat healing.
Haunting Choker is a complete skill that provides valuable long distance support while also improving Freyja's offense and defense at the same time.
Halloween Freyja's power is mostly tied to her ability to disable her foe's Specials, and this effect is reliant on Freyja outspeeding her foes.
While she has amazing Spd, both base stats and in-combat bonuses, she can still be outsped by heavily invested foes.
Ensure you invest in her Spd with her superboon and appopriate skills and support to maximize her combat potential!
