Ross and Ewan Strategy

Use a Hit and Run Strategy!

This map has no reinforcements and no refresher foes, making a Hit and Run strategy viable.

Stay out of the range of the enemy units on the first turn while repositioning your team, since the enemies will not engage until you step into their threat range. Once ready, initiate on Ross or the Lance Fighter and defeat him with a ranged unit, and then use movement assists like Reposition and refresher assists to get your units out of the danger area.

The enemies will then advance, but be unable to reach your units. You can repeat this process over and over again until all the enemies are dead.

Units with multiple actions are preferred due to the Bow Cavalier and the Red Bat having 3 movement, making it difficult to kite them on future turns. However, it is possible to leave those two enemies last while using the first few turns to defeat everyone else first.

Alternatively, Use a Tanking Strategy!

You can also adopt a tanking strategy to clear this map, as none of the enemies in this map are too threatening except for Ross with his pre-charged Special.

Use the first few turns to set up your formation, and then place your bait unit on the left side to have the enemies engage onto him/her. Baiting on the left side will lure in only two units, allowing you to use the next turn to heal your tank and reposition your units.

Baiting the enemies on the fourth column will lure in four foes due to the Red Bat's 3 movement upon transforming. If you are confident that your tank unit can survive attacks from all those foes, feel free to place your bait unit on the fourth column. This will leave only Ewan and the Bow Cavalier remaining, allowing you to easily clean up afterwards.
