Legendary Hero Battle - Yuri Strategy

Use Player Phase Units!

Using player phase units with multiple actions, usually through Galeforce or the use of Duo/Harmonized Skills, you can clear most, if not the entire map on the very first turn.

If unable to clear the entire map, you can leave one of the 2 movement units alive, just ensure that you are out of range in order to prevent losing the map. Ensure you defeat Legendary Yuri on the first turn when using this strategy, as he has pre-charged his Blazing Wind which will knock out most units.

This map has no trenches, allowing your offensive cavalry units to approach the enemies quickly.

The Blue Manakete has Spd/Res Bulwark 3 which may prevent your units from reaching the backline units. Ensure you bring a unit that can defeat her in one combat.

Also, be careful on turn 3, as the reinforcement Sword Infantry has Odd Tempest 3 which may catch you off guard.

Alternatively, use Tanks with Savior Skills

It is also possible to form up into a ball and use Savior Tanks to enemy phase the entire map, but it requires significant support to keep the tank units alive.

Ideally, the ranged tank is Blue and has high Def/Res stats to minimize the damage dealt by Legendary Yuri and his pre-charged Blazing Wind. Position your units to dodge the AoE of his Special!

Ensure you bring support heroes in order to keep your tank units alive!

Summer Edelgard	Sword Armored Regal Sunshade's brave effect can quickly eliminate enemies. Raging Storm can grant one additional action after combat. Inheriting Galeforce can grant a third action per turn.
Ninja Corrin (F)	Green Tome Cavalry Ninjutsu Scrolls' brave effect can quickly defeat enemies. Duo Skill grants herself an additional action.
Ninja Lyn	Colorless Dagger Flying Tailwind Shuriken's brave effect can quickly defeat enemies. Duo Skill grants herself an additional action.
Ninja Laegjarn	Blue Bow Flying Flamefrost Bow's brave effect can quickly defeat enemies. Duo Skill grants herself an additional action.
Brave Chrom	Lance Cavalry Geirdriful has armor-effectiveness to bust through Savior Tanks and speeds up Special charges, especially effective if given Galeforce through inheritance. A Fate Changed! allows a Reposition effect while granting another action to himself and copying any bonuses on target ally.
Legendary Sigurd	Sword Cavalry Holy-Knight Aura grants Sigurd +1 movement and then grants the entire team extra movement after activation, allowing your units to approach enemies with ease.

[Savior Tank Units]

Unit Name
Brave Hector	Lance Armored The king of blue tank units. Can counterattack at a distance, deny enemy follow-ups, and has his own follow-up attack.
Ascended Idunn	Blue Breath Armored A Brave Hector that attacks with magic damage and has higher base stats.
Rearmed Robin (F)	Colorless Breath Armored Can heal post-combat with Arcane Grima and mitigate damage with a defensive Special and Hardy Fighter 3. Dragonhide inflicts massive stat debuffs and provides a Guard effect. Can function as both a Near Save tank with a defensive Sacred Seal and a Far Save tank with Distant Counter (D) Sacred Seal.
Halloween Duma	Red Breath Armored Ghostly Lanterns de-pulses foes, preventing their Specials from triggering. Dragon Wall 3 and Woeful Upheaval grant multiple sources of damage reduction.

[Support Units]

Elimine	Staff Flying Grants damage reduction, healing, and can shut down "At start of turn" effects of foes in cardinal directions.
Flayn	Staff Flying Grants damage reduction and healing.
Brave Lucina	Lance Infantry Grants bonus stats and Special acceleration to nearby allies. Can double as an offensive unit with refined Geirskögul dealing effective damage against dragon foes.
Corrin (M)	Sword Infantry Grants bonus stats to his Ally Support during combat.
Summer Hilda	Staff Flying Grants Atk+6 and Special acceleration to nearby allies during combat.
