Legendary Hero Battle - Robin (M) Strategy

Use Player Phase Units!

Using player phase units with multiple actions, usually through Galeforce or the use of Duo/Harmonized Skills, you can clear most, if not the entire map on the very first turn.

If unable to clear the entire map, you can leave the Troubadour alive; her attacks won't be able to defeat your units, especially with the lack of a Wrathful Staff effect. There are few reinforcements on the following turns and are quite spread out, allowing an easy clear.

This map has no trenches, allowing your offensive cavalry units to approach the enemies quickly.

The Lance Knight has superior physical bulk, the Hardy Fighter 3 and Pavise combo, and A/D Near Save 3 to protect his allies. Defeat him using a unit that deals magic damage. You should be able to defeat him even through his Deflect Magic 3 due to his pitiful Res. If engaging on turn one, his Pavise won't be charged up yet, allowing you to use powerful physical attacks as well.

Be careful though, as Legendary Robin (M) has Canto Control 3 to shut down your team's Canto effects! Additionally, the Axe Fighter's Atk/Def Bulwark 3 prevents your units from approaching the backline units (including Robin himself), forcing you to defeat him first.

Alternatively, use Tanks with Savior Skills

It is also possible to form up into a ball and use Savior Tanks to enemy phase the entire map, but it requires significant support to keep the tank units alive.

Ideally, the ranged tank is not Blue and has high Res in order to survive an attack from Legendary Robin (M).

If your tank units have Unity skills or similar effects, their jobs are made significantly easier due to Master's Tactics applying debuffs which are then reversed. Alternatively, units that neutralize penalties will also work here to negate the penalties that Robin applies.

You can also field an offensive unit to handle Robin. Simply stay out of his range while baiting the generic enemies and then defeat Robin before he can attack your units.

Ensure you bring support heroes in order to keep your tank units alive!

If you have a copy of Legendary Robin (M), bring him into the map. Master's Tactics grants 【Grand Strategy】 to nearby allies, reversing the debuffs that the enemy Robin applies.

Summer Edelgard	Sword Armored Regal Sunshade's brave effect can quickly eliminate enemies. Raging Storm can grant one additional action after combat. Inheriting Galeforce can grant a third action per turn.
Ninja Corrin (F)	Green Tome Cavalry Ninjutsu Scrolls' brave effect can quickly defeat enemies. Duo Skill grants herself an additional action.
Ninja Lyn	Colorless Dagger Flying Tailwind Shuriken's brave effect can quickly defeat enemies. Duo Skill grants herself an additional action.
Ninja Laegjarn	Blue Bow Flying Flamefrost Bow's brave effect can quickly defeat enemies. Duo Skill grants herself an additional action.
Brave Chrom	Lance Cavalry Geirdriful has armor-effectiveness to bust through Savior Tanks and speeds up Special charges, especially effective if given Galeforce through inheritance. A Fate Changed! allows a Reposition effect while granting another action to himself and copying any bonuses on target ally.
Legendary Sigurd	Sword Cavalry Holy-Knight Aura grants Sigurd +1 movement and then grants the entire team extra movement after activation, allowing your units to approach enemies with ease.

[Savior Tank Units]

Unit Name
Brave Hector	Lance Armored The king of blue tank units. Can counterattack at a distance, deny enemy follow-ups, and have his own follow-up attack.
Ascended Idunn	Blue Breath Armored A Brave Hector that attacks with magic damage and has higher base stats.
Ascended Fjorm	Axe Armored Can heal post-combat with Nifl's Bite and mitigate damage with Ice Mirror and Hardy Fighter 3. Nifl's Bite allows a counterattack against sweep effects.
Halloween Duma	Red Breath Armored Ghostly Lanterns de-pulses foes, preventing their Specials from triggering. Dragon Wall 3 and Woeful Upheaval grant multiple sources of damage reduction.

[Support Units]

Elimine	Staff Flying Grants damage reduction, healing, and can shut down "At start of turn" effects of foes in cardinal directions.
Flayn	Staff Flying Grants damage reduction and healing.
Brave Lucina	Lance Infantry Grants bonus stats and Special acceleration to nearby allies. Can double as an offensive unit with refined Geirskögul dealing effective damage against dragon foes.
