Legendary Hero Battle - Xander Strategy

Bring a Red Near Save Unit and a Far Save Unit

A tanking strategy is possible in this map due to the choke point in the middle caused by the pillars. Using Savior skills and support units will greatly help in this strategy.

Ideally, your Savior armors can negate penalties or reverse them with Unity skills, as the starting Sword Infantry and Axe Dragon both have Panic Ploy 3 in their kits.

Legendary Xander has a pre-charged Luna; ensure that your Near Save tank can survive this hit. This is why we recommend using a red unit for this role. A unit with Hardy Fighter 3 and a damage reduction Special like Escutcheon or Sacred Cowl also works.

As for your support units, bring an ally that can provide useful effects such as damage reduction and Special acceleration. However, Colorless supports like Flayn and Elimine will not be effective against Legendary Xander himself due to C Feud 3.

Elimine can still use Staff of the Saint against Legendary Xander to prevent his Ebon Bölverk from granting him the Null Follow-Up status.

Alternatively, use a Player Phase strategy with Galeforce and repeated actions

With six foes at the start of the match, it is possible to use a strategy involving repeated actions using Galeforce or Duo/Harmonized skills to clear the map on turn one.

Units like Ninja Corrin (F) and Hatari Azura work wonders on this map with their respective Duo/Harmonized skills granting additional actions. Summer Edelgard also works due to Raging Storm granting one additional action, and inheriting Galeforce can grant her another.

Be wary of the Blue Mage carrying Canto Control 3. Eliminate him quickly in order to retain the extra mobility provided by Canto.

Ascended Fjorm	Axe Armored Can heal post-combat with Nifl's Bite and mitigate damage with Ice Mirror and Hardy Fighter 3. Nifl's Bite allows a counterattack against sweep effects.
Legendary Tiki (Young)	Blue Breath Armored Deals magic damage and can protect allies using With Everyone II.

Corrin (M)	Sword Infantry Grants bonus stats to his Ally Support during combat.
