Byleth: The Fódlan Light Strategy

Avoid Using Ranged Physical Damage Units on Byleth!

Legendary Byleth (F) has the Deflect MIssile 3 Sacred Seal, making her able to withstand attacks from both bows and daggers.

Take her out with melee physical damage units, as her Def is lower than her Res.

Watch Out for Enemy Mobility

Two of the reinforcements for this map possess Aerobatics 3, enabling them to move to a space adjacent to any infantry, armored, or cavalry ally within 2 spaces.

In addition to this, Byleth herself has a superior mobility skill in the form of Goddess Bearer.

The range of movement may catch your team by surprise so be mindful of your units' placements!

Beware of Several Debuffs

Several units on this map have invisible debuffs which will take effect during combat.

You can mitigate this somewhat by using units that buff themselves during combat and/or have allies that grant buffs during combat.

Inflicting debuffs on enemy units is also an effective strategy to even the playing field, such as using dagger units (just not on Byleth) or staff units.

Use Ash

Ash Chibi Fire Emblem Heroes FEH.png

Ash if a very effective unit on this map due to the effects of her weapon when she transforms.

You can use her to form a chokepoint in the right side of the map, having her tank and deal damage while the rest of your team helps out.

Recommended Units for Byleth: The Fódlan Light

Tanky Units

Unit Name
Ash	Colorless Beast Infantry Loaded weapon that prevents follow-up attacks, guarantees her a follow-up attack, and neutralizes Guard effects. Easy to obtain unit.
Legendary Dimitri	Lance Infantry Has damage reduction when his Spd is high.
Brave Hector	Lance Armored Guaranteed follow-up attack Weapon refine makes him immune to armor-effective weapons.
Brave Edelgard	Axe Armored High mobility for an armored unit. High stats all around.
Fallen Edelgard	Colorless Armored Beast High stats all around. Can heal herself and can have multiple actions in a turn.

Reginn	Red Sword Cavalry Can move again after attacking. Special deals adaptive damage when it triggers. Easy to obtain unit.
Reinhardt	Blue Cavalry Tome Can attack twice with his weapon. Easy to obtain unit.
Eir	Colorless Dagger Flier Weapon prevents enemy unit from making follow-up attacks. Can heal allies and disables adaptive damage. Easy to obtain unit.
Legendary Celica	Green Infantry Tome Very high firepower that can double because of her high spd.
Legendary Byleth (M)	Green Infantry Tome Very high firepower with exclusive Special that punches through damage reduction.
Legendary Leif	Colorless Cavalry Bow Special allows him to gain another action.
Ninja Lyn	Colorless Dagger Flier Weapon allows her to attack twice Duo skill allows her to take another action.
