Weather and Wind Conditions

What are Weather and Wind Coniditons?

Certain Weather and Wind conditions can affect your battles. These conditions can be seen in the Battle Overview interface. Depending on the battle objective and the units you use, these conditions can either help or hinder your strategies.

Wind Conditions

These affects both allied and enemy arrows so pay attention to Wind conditions if you have multiple bow users like Hughette deployed on field.

If you are not using bow users and enemy bowmen start on the high ground such as in certain battles, a Tempest condition would be beneficial to the player as this reduces the total damage output of the enemy forces.

Weather conditions affect skill effects directly. Such examples are discussed below!

Effects on Terrain

Rain, Puddles and Lightning Spells

Rain conditions spawn puddles around the battlefield. Puddles can be taken advantage of by users of Lightning skills such as Ezana or Narve as puddles spread the AoE of said skills.

In this example, the AoE of Rite of Lightning is spread through the puddles that are near each other.

Snow, Puddles and Fire Spells

Snow generated by Weather conditions or terrain are no different from snow generated by skills. This means Frederica's Fire spells can melt them and spawn puddles that you can take advantage of!

Increases your movement by 1 with clear weather. Power: - Range: -

Roland's Elite skill, Spring in Your Step improves his mobility as long as he is under clear weather conditions.

There are specific weapon upgrades that rely on weather for a trigger condition. When deploying units such as Frederica and Ezana, keep in mind the compatibilities of their trigger conditions. For example, using Ezana's Rite of Rain will increase her damage, but it might not be wise if Frederica is one of your aces as this would deactivate Clear Skies, Fire Damage Up.

Ezana's playstyle and contribution to the team involves weather manipulation. Using her skills Rite of Lightning and Rite of Wind, Ezana can manipulate the weather in the maps she is in!

Weather in Indoor Battles

Even in maps such as the Mock Battle, A Fair Fight, where battles take place indoors, Ezana can still manipulate the weather.
