Who is the Hierophant?

Member of the Saintly Seven

The Hierophant is a member of Hyzante's Saintly Seven. She is known as The Holy One, and is said to be the only one who can communicate with Hyzante's goddess. The Hierophant's identity is a closely-guarded secret, as it is seen hiding inside a tent whenever a story takes place inside the Hierophant's Palace.

Communicates Through Idore

The Hierophant does not directly talk but instead speaks through Idore to express what it wants to say. It relays the goddess' message through him, who then communicates it to others.

Revealed as a Robot Puppet

In the final chapter of Benedict's Route Dance of the Automaton and the Golden Route For Norzelia, it is revealed that the Hierophant is nothing but a lifeless puppet that is under Idore's complete control.

Lyla created the puppet who received the order from Idore himself. The puppet acts as a physical figure that preaches the goddess' words, only to be revealed that this is also untrue and that Idore is the one behind the prevalent teachings that Hyzantians follow.

Communicate with Hyzante's Goddess

The Hierophant can communicate with Hyzante's revered goddess and know as the only person with the ability to do so.

This of course is revealed to be fake, as it is Idore's own words that are being preached.

Can Summon Automatons

During the battle in Dance of the Automaton and For Norzelia, the Hierophant can summon Automatons that attack with their talons. These Automatons will also explode when defeated, damaging any units nearby

Has a Variety of Skills

The Hierophant can attack with different skills. It can damage its target with non-elemental magic attacks. It can also replenish it own TP and is resistant to status effects.

Additionally, it can also tempt all enemies near it for 2 turns.

Can Be Summoned by Idore

In the Golden Route's final battle, Idore can easily whip out another Hierophant puppet if the first one is defeated. It is recommended to deal with them both at the same time during this fight.
