What is New Game Plus?

New Game Plus in Triangle Strategy allows you to load a save file with several new features that will assist you in checking out the other story routes and discover things you've missed on your first playthrough.

New Game Plus builds up on your previous progress, and carries over any upgrades on your units, along with information and Notes that you have already obtained.

How to Unlock New Game Plus

Reach One of the Story Endings

A Save File with New Game Plus will be indicated with the Clear Data tag, a different thumbnail, and the Scales of Conviction on the list of Save files.

To unlock New Game Plus, you need to reach one of the story endings and finish the game. After doing so, you'll be prompted to use one of your Save Slots to access the New Game Plus. This will be considered a save file with Clear Data.

Carry Over Upgrades, Information, and Notes

Loading a save in New Game Plus will include all of the upgrades, information, and notes that you have acquired when you first finish the game.

This will prevent you from starting all over again if you just want to check out several things that you have missed in your first playthrough, which may include locked persuasion options during the Voting sections of the game, characters locked to a specific Chapter, and getting access to Subchapters that you were not able to play.

More Challenging Battles

Battles in New Game Plus will be tougher, which may be a challenge depending on the character and weapon upgrades that you will start with.

Additionally, more difficult Mental Mock Battles will also be available in the Tavern at the Encampment.

View Conviction Values and Changes

Dialogue choices will now show which and Conviction values will be affected

In New Game Plus, you will now be able to view your current Conviction values and any changes that can happen whenever you make a choice or action in the game.

Additionally, dialogue choices will now show which and Conviction values will be affected and how much change will be. The conditions required to raise each Conviction value will also be displayed.

This is incredibly useful for sections in the story that require you to have a certain level of Utility, Morality, or Liberty as it allows you to track and monitor all of your Convictions.
