Just like in Chapter 3 where you have to choose between Hyzante and Aesfrost, your choice for this chapter ultimately boils down to the character you want to recruit.
We recommend returning to Wolffort and getting Milo for various reasons. First, Milo has excellent mobility thanks to her Moon Jump ability which allows her to travel to distant tiles. She even has the chance to do one more command afterwards.
Second, she debuffs enemies by charming and tempting them. Her abilities do not cost a lot of TP too!
Third, she has decent damage output and can inflict status ailments to enemies. By using Moon Jump, you can inflict poison to an isolated enemy so that by the time that enemy gets to your units, its HP will be low.
Milo Yuelle Abilities, Class Promotions, and How to Recruit
Finally, returning to Wolffort grants you access to the Golden Route provided that you were able to meet the other conditions from previous routes.
Unfortunately, Milo, Cordelia, Travis, and Trish are all exclusive to a route. Choosing a route means you are going to lose the characters in the other routes. You need to play at least 4 times to get all of them.
Finishing the game and unlocking New Game Plus will help you get all recruitable characters in the game. After the credits roll and getting New Game Plus, characters from your previous playthroughs will be carried over to your current playthrough as they were.
