Chapter 15c2 Objectives

The Trot of Thieves Objectives

The Trot of Thieves Objectives
1 The chapter starts with the Bandits just outside of the Roselle village considering their approach on raiding the homes.
2 After the cutscene, you will be sent to the World Map.
Main Story unlocked: Rosellan Village
3 Proceed to the Rosellan Village to inspect the area for any bandits.
Exploration Phase unlocked: Rosellan Village
4 After exploring the village, the Bandits arrive at the village.
Main Story unlocked: Rosellan Village
5 Make the necessary preparations at the Encampment before heading out to battle.
Battle unlocked: Battle with the Bandit Trish
6 After the battle, Travis arrives to calm Trish down and to bargain for absolution for the bandits.
7 Frederica offers to absolve the bandits in exchange for their cooperation in locating the treasure in the Roselle Village. Trish volunteers and joins the party.
Character unlocked: Trish
8 After the cutscene, you will be sent to the World Map.
Main Story unlocked: Rosellan Village
9 Trish and the rest of Serenoa's team investigate the Roselle village to look for the key that would open the book stolen from the Archives.
10 After a lengthy search, they figure out the location of the key, unlock the book, and uncover the details of the secret treasure and the history of the Roselle.

Cat Location

Where to Find In between the village entrance and the front of the Elder's House.

You will encounter a number of cats scattered across Norzelia throughout your adventure.

These cats can be found during Exploration Phases, and interacting with all of the cats throughout the game will grant you a Secret Note.

It is not required to interact with the cat again if you have approached it from a previous Exploration Phase.

Exploit Enemy Weakness to Ice

Triangle Strategy - Ice Magic
Ranged units like battlemages and archers use fire-based attacks. Use Corentin or Narve's Ice abilities in order to deal massive damage against them. Trish herself is weak against Ice Magic, so use it to deal massive damage

Use Ladders to Move Units

Triangle Strategy - Use Ladders
Quite a number of units can be found on the rooftop above the chief's house. Instead of going through the long way which is to use the stairs, players can use use Jens' Ladder ability to get units atop.

Ladder Set a ladder on a selected square for easy access to other areas. Ladders previously set with this ability will disappear.

Range: 1-1 (Height ±2 - ±10)

Be Wary of Poison

Triangle Strategy - Cure All Pellets
Bandit Rogues use Poison Stab. Being afflicted by poison can be a small hindrance at first but can seriously affect the battle long-term.

Poison Stab Deal physical damage to a single enemy, and have a chance to poison them for 3 turn(s).
Power: 48
Range: 1-1 (Height -2 - +2)

Bring enough Poison Recovery Pellets or use Geela's Heal What Ails You ability to get rid of the poison.

Heal What Ails You Heal an ally's status ailments.
Power: -
Range: 0-4 (Height-10 - +10)

Chapter 15c2 General Tips

Immobilize Trish with Hughette

Shadowstitching Arrow Deal physical damage to an enemy, and have a chance to immobilize them for 2 turn(s).
Power: 76
Range: 2-4 (Height -20 - +8)

Trish can be quite mobile on the map, and with all the elevation differences, it might be hard to catch up to her. Keeping her in place with a technique such as Hughette's Shadowstitching Arrow, Jens' traps or Corentin's Ice wall can help you lock her down.

Take Advantage of Quietuses

Using a Quietus

Quietuses are an extremely helpful set of commands that can help your units in a multitude of ways. To name a few, certain Quitetuses can influence turn count, damage dealt, unit positioning, and more.

In this case, teleporting your strongest unit straight to Trish using the Quietus Lightwave is ideal.

Take this strategy up a notch by using another Quietus like Critical Blow to deal more damage. The sooner you can take Trish out, the faster the battle ends!

Provided that you have the Quietus Points for them, using these commands will make Serenoa and his allies a force to be reckoned with.
