There is no romance mechanic in Triangle Strategy. Though it is worth noting that Serenoa and Frederica are engaged to each other. Pay attention to character interactions between the two of them if romance is an element you look for in RPGs!
Conviction is a complex and nigh-untrackable mechanic in the game! It affects tons of things throughout the story. And while Conviction affects character interactions, it doesn'taffect the romance between the main characters in the game.
