Morality

Raising Morality will mostly require you to spend Kudos and do mental mock battles in the Encampment.

In battles, you can raise Morality by trying to cause as less bloodshed as possible while only moving a handful of your units. Granting buffs to your allies with units will also help raise this Conviction.

Actions that Raise Morality
Outside of Battles
・Exchanging large amounts of Kudos for items (+5 Morality for every 500 Kudos Spent)
・Participating in mental mock battles (+2 Morality for every battle.)
・Talking to a large number of NPCs. (+1 Morality for every 25 NPC/Animal Interactions)
During Battles
・Ending a turn without moving or taking actions
・Fortifying allies
・Winning a battle without killing all enemy units
・Winning a battle where the recommended level matches that of your army

We're still looking into how much each of these actions affect Morality.

Utility

To raise Utility effectively, you need to keep a sharp eye out during the exploration phases of the game and gather dropped items and information in the map and from NPCs.

In battles, you can raise Utility by using all recommended units, using Quietuses, and gathering spoils in the field, among others.

Actions that Raise Utility
Outside of Battles
・Proactively collecting items and information (+1 Utility every 25 items/information found.)
・Deploying the recommended units for the upcoming battle (+1 Utility)
During Battles
・Using Quietuses
・Collecting spoils
・Weakening enemies
・Eradicating all enemy units when doing so is not a victory condition
・Winning a battle in which the recommended level is higher than that of your army

We're still looking into how much each of these actions affect Utility.

Liberty

Buying items with Coins in shops, using items, and examining objects in the map will raise your Liberty.

During battles, raising Liberty will require you to jump out of the box a bit, as using units that aren't recommened to be used during the fight as well as using a party that does not meet the level recommendation will raise this Conviction.

Actions that Raise Liberty
Outside of Battles
・Spending large amount of Coins at shops (+8 Liberty for every 10,000 coin spent.)
・Using items
・ Examining many objects (+2 Liberty for every 10 objects.)
・Deploying units not recommended for the upcoming battle
During Battles
・Stealing items
・Healing allies
・Winning a battle which the recommended level is lower than that of your army

We're still looking into how much each of these actions affect Liberty.

During the voting scenes of the game, the success rate of persuading a character to change their initial decision will depend on Serenoa's Convictions.

If the Conviction value matches or exceeds the points required for that character, it will be easier to persuade them in changing their decision. If it is lower, they will less likely change their mind and stick to what they want.
