This guide will show you how to farm Coin in Triangle Strategy. Read on to learn the quickest ways to get Coin early and mid game, as well as easy Coin farm techniques!

Recommended Time: Early-Game (This also works in the late game.) |

At least in the early game, going through the main story maps and getting all the Coin in exploration phases are already enough to fund your progress.
Take this time to get familiar with the difficulty you're playing in as this will dictate which items you are better off selling. For example, playing in Very Easy difficulty allows space to sell HP Recovery Pellets.
Selling will play a significant part of funding your army once you are in the mid-game!

Recommended Time: Mid-Game to Late-Game |

Mock Battle Scenario | Recommended Lv. | Location | Reward |
---|---|---|---|
Close Quarters Combat | Lv. 10 | Whiteholm Castle: Gardens | 2000 Coin |
The Chaos of Battle | Lv. 18 | Abandoned Village | 4000 Coin & Large HP Recovery Pellet |
Mock Battles are indefinitely repeatable, resource-giving battles in Triangle Strategy. Specific Mock Battles, upon completion, grant a huge sum of Coin. You can also sell the spoils you get from these battles to supplement your earnings.
With an average of Lv. 15 of at least 3 offensive units, Close Quarters Combat can be completed within 5 mins! Depending on the spoils you get, you can get up to 2750 Coin per battle, and this does not include the spoils that you can sell. Assuming you can get at least 10 clears an hour, you can get 27,500 Coin per hour clearing this map.
With average of Lv. 18 of at least 4 reliable, offensive units in their 2nd class The Chaos of Battle can be completed in under 30 minutes. Depending on the spoils you get, you can get up to 7500 Coin per battle. Compared to Close Quarters Combat, this map gives a ton more spoils thanks to the treasure chests available in the map. If you can get at least 2 clears an hour, you can get up to 15,000 Coin per hour plus various items.
From a purely Coin perspective, Close Quarters Combat is best, but if you want to mix things up and want to get various items as well, go for The Chaos of Battle.
The Golden Pinkie Ring is an item that increases the chance of spoils dropping when a unit wielding it slays a foe. It only works for the wielder, but it does proc from follow-up attacks and counterattacks so keep this in mind. A minor downside is that it takes up a ring slot. This reduces the battle power of your units. It costs 5000 Coin from the Provisioner so consider it as an investment!
Lionel is the perfect unit to have in battle if you're farming for money because he has an ability called Lucky Find that allows him to obtain money when picking up spoils. Use this in tandem with Golden Pinkie Ring on Lionel and you can farm money much more easily!

In the mid-game, you will have known which items you frequently use. Avoid selling those items, and sell those that you do not have much use for. Some of the items we recommend selling are the following.
Item | Selling Price |
---|---|
HP Recovery Pellet | 70 |
Ranged HP Recovery Pellet | 370 |
Elemental Stones | 300 |
Spices | 50 |
Large HP Recovery Pellets are more efficient than both listed pellets. Elemental Stones are niche except for Medina users. In lower difficulties, you will find that the use of Spices is not really vital so you can consider selling them too.
We do not recommend selling Materials such as Iron, Stone, Fiber, etc. They are used to upgrade your units' weapons so they are very important for game progression. In fact, we recommend spending your Coin whenever these are available from the provisioner.
Coin is one of the 2 major resources used to purchase items and upgrades in Triangle Strategy—the other being Kudos. Coin is earned through battles whether gaining it directly at victory, or by selling the spoils acquired. It can be used to purchase consumables, upgrade materials, and fund unit upgrades.

One thing that would be worth mentioning is to use Lionel for grinding money, since he gets extra coin (scaling with his level) for every spoils he picks up. It's his level times 20, so at level 25 for example, he'd get 500 coin per bag extra, making Close Quarters Combat even more efficient once he is able to solo it.
