Increasing Convictions

Scales of Conviction

Your Morality, Utility, or Liberty stats are vital in getting more playable units and can influence the story route that you are currently playing on. Here are the methods on how to raise specific convictions.

Morality

Actions that Raise Morality
Outside of Battles
・Exchanging large amounts of Kudos for items (+5 Morality for every 500 Kudos Spent)
・Participating in mental mock battles (+2 Morality for every battle.)
・Talking to a large number of NPCs. (+1 Morality for every 25 NPC/Animal Interactions)
During Battles
・Ending a turn without moving or taking actions
・Fortifying allies
・Winning a battle without killing all enemy units
・Winning a battle where the recommended level matches that of your army

Utility

Actions that Raise Utility
Outside of Battles
・Proactively collecting items and information (+1 Utility every 25 items/information found.)
・Deploying the recommended units for the upcoming battle (+1 Utility)
During Battles
・Using Quietuses
・Collecting spoils
・Weakening enemies
・Eradicating all enemy units when doing so is not a victory condition
・Winning a battle in which the recommended level is higher than that of your army

Liberty

Actions that Raise Liberty
Outside of Battles
・Spending large amount of Coins at shops (+8 Liberty for every 10,000 coin spent.)
・Using items
・ Examining many objects (+2 Liberty for every 10 objects.)
・Deploying units not recommended for the upcoming battle
During Battles
・Stealing items
・Healing allies
・Winning a battle which the recommended level is lower than that of your army
