The max level for playable units in Triangle Strategy is level 50. Read on for some tips on how to level up fast in the game!
The max level that a playable unit can attain in Triangle Strategy is Level 50. This will allow it to use all available abilities it can learn as it levels up.
A unit is more likely to reach this level on a second playthrough via New Game Plus, as progress from a previous save file carries over when you start a new run in that mode. It is also possible to max out a unit's level on your first run of the game, although the task will be long and arduous.
Even if you finish the game a second time in New Game Plus, the level cap will still be the same. This also applies to enemy units, with the recommended level per battle being capped at level 50.
To level up units fast, let them do an action during battles. This can either be attacking an enemy or barricade, using one of their abilities, or using an item.
Simply moving them across the map does not garner any experience points, so make sure to issue a command during their turn to gain some EXP.
If you have units that you have benched for so long that you want to actively use for future battles, you can use this technique to quickly level them up. Attacking or using an item or ability will yield them enough experience points to level up immediately.
If you have several units that you want to level up quickly, you can simply retreat from battles as you keep any experience points gained during the battle. You can do this in either the battle phases of story chapters or in Mental Mock Battles in the Encampment.

this is just the bare minimum in how to level up, there is nothing 'fast' about it, why do walkthrough and guides bother to put a section like this in when they do not even try?
