Battle Strategies

Exploit Enemy Weakness to Ice

Ranged units like battlemages and archers use fire-based attacks. Use Corentin or Narve's Ice abilities in order to deal massive damage against them.
List of All Ice Abilities

Hold the Chokepoint

Despite being surrounded on both sides, this battle is a defensive one. Hold the chokepoint and defeat enemies one at a time.

Ram Foe

Deal physical damage to a single enemy, knock them back 5 squares and move forward 1 square. Power: 62 Range: 1-1 (Height -2 - +2)

Keep enemies away from the battle by using Erador's Ram Foe ability. Players can also hold their position by using ranged units like Archibald.

Keep Roland Alive

Since the victory conditions for this battle is to keep Roland alive, there are many ways to keep the battle going. Players can transfer Roland away from the battle by using the Lightwave Quietus.

Shield of Ice can also be used to protect Roland from physical attacks.

Shield of Ice

Grant an ally a barrier that prevents them from taking damage once and counters when attacked. Power: - Range: 0-4 (Height -10 - +10)

Finally, players should utilize Cordelia as the main healer. She can use Regen to passively heal units for 3 turns.

Regen

Grant regen to an ally for 3 turn(s), automatically restoring a little HP at the start of their turn. Power: - Range: 0-5 (Height -10 - +10)

Chapter 15b General Tips

Surround Cordelia with Ally Units

Cordelia has excellent range and healing powers but she doesn't have high defenses. Because of this, we recommend surrounding her with ally units to keep her safe.

Furthermore, you can exploit her ability Rest and Recover TP where she gains 1 TP when she does not move on her turn. She can keep the entire team healthy provided that they keep her safe from harm too!
