	Begone, Shadow of Sadness Objectives
1	Upon Roland's appointment as Saint, the Holy State launches an invasion of Aesfrost to unify Norzelia under the Goddess's blessing.
2	After careful deliberation, Serenoa, Roland, and Exharme aims to take over Twinsgate alongside Hyzante's forces. Main Story unlocked: Abandoned Village
3	Proceed to the Abandoned Village to hear out Exharme, as well as survey the area while waiting for Hughette's update regarding Twinsgate. Exploration Phase unlocked: Abandoned Village
4	After the Exploration Phase, you will be sent to the World Map. Main Story unlocked: Twinsgate
5	Make the necessary preparations at the Encampment before heading out to battle. Battle unlocked: Battle of Twinsgate
6	After defeating Sycras and his men, Twinsgate is left open, as Serenoa, Roland, Exharme, and the rest enter past the gates of Aesfrost. End of Chapter 18R: Begone, Shadow of Sadness

Cat Location

Where to Find	In a corner, behind an abandoned house.

You will encounter a number of cats scattered across Norzelia throughout your adventure.

These cats can be found during Exploration Phases, and interacting with all of the cats throughout the game will grant you a Secret Note.

It is not required to interact with the cat again if you have approached it from a previous Exploration Phase.

Battle Strategies

Take Out Healers First Before Sycras

While the victory condition of this battle is to defeat Sycras, it is not recommended to just teleport your strongest unit straight to him, as he is surrounded by healers that will just cancel out any damage you've inflicted.

Instead of using the Quietus Lightwave to Sycras, consider teleporting to the healers instead and take them out one by one.

After that, your party could just gang up on Sycras without having to worry about anyone healing him!

Watch Out for Archers

The Twinsgate entrance is scattered with archers. These archers will use the terrain to their advantage and attack your units from a safe distance.

Bird of Prey

Raise an ally's movement and jump by 1 for 3 turn(s). Power: - Range: 0-4 (Height -10 - +10)

Using Benedict's ability Bird of Prey alongside the Quietus Fleet-footed can help your ranged units go up the high terrain much faster and eliminate the archers in the process.

Use Jens' Ladder Ability

Another tactic to traverse the map is by using Jens' Ladder ability, allowing units with a low Jump stat to go up high areas with ease.

Once you overcome the disadvantage of being on the low ground, the battle will be much easier to navigate.

Chapter 18R General Tips

Use Quietuses Efficiently

Quietuses are an extremely helpful set of commands that can help your units in a multitude of ways. To name a few, certain Quitetuses can influence turn count, damage dealt, unit positioning, and more.

For this battle, it's not as simple as teleporting behind the boss using Lightwave and eliminating them immediately.

Instead, you would want to use the Quietuses in a very calculating manner, so as to maximize its effectiveness.

In this case, use Lightwave to eliminate enemy units that can potentially prolong the fight, such as healers and other ranged units.

In addition, using the Quietus Fleet-footed can help you overcome the map's elevation.
