Increase Conviction Through Dialogue

TS Exploration - Raising Conviction
During the Exploration phase, there will be characters on the map that have an exclamation point icon over their heads.

Talking to these characters will give you an opportunity to respond to them which in turn will influence your conviction.

Gather Information

Talking to people during the Exploration phase can help you can uncover information that will unlock additional responses for the Scales of Conviction phases.

These information can help you persuade party members to side with you during the Scales of Conviction phase, so be proactive in talking to everyone you meet on your journey!

Obtain Items

Shining Objects on the Map

TS Shining Item
As you freely explore the map, you will come across shining objects. Interacting with it will give you items - from consumables to Notes.

It is recommended to rotate your camera in different angles to make sure you won't miss any shining objects!

Buying from Merchants

TS Merchants
Some merchants are open for business during the Exploration phase and may be selling rare items you'll not find at the Provisioner in the Encampment.

It would be wise to speak with any shopkeepers you meet!

Survey the Area

TS Survey the Area

There are some instances wherein the places you explore are also areas wherein you battle.

The Exploration phase is a good opportunity to survey the potential battlefield, identifying its mechanisms and terrain for your advantage in the future.

What is Exploration?

TS Exploration

The flow of the game comprises multiple phases. In addition to story scenes and battles, there will also be an Exploration phase.

In this phase, you may move freely about areas to gather information from people around you, obtain items, review mechanisms and terrain features that may serve you in battle, and more.

To end the Exploration phase and continue with the story, press the (+) button and confirm.
