Best Starting Character: Who to Start WithComment

I chose Castti due to her talent being super versatile, mainly for the op healing support it represents. Alphyn was op for that in Octopath I. I might've chosen Ochette, though. Her Pokemon ability makes her extremely versatile and gives her massive coverage. I only didn't choose her bc I chose Hunter in Octopath I. Also I love her personality.

Partitio's rest ability restores hp, sp and removes status effects at the same time. Not a bad starting character either IMO. Hired help can increase defense of entire party for 150 leaves as well.

Throne is the best as she get access to Inventor straight away meaning she has got access to not only the ability to hit all enemies with Changeable Catapult but for it cost zero SP. It so good to the point that I have basically steam rolled the game with her killing all enemies first 70% of the time with her and that ability. While her being a good unit carried the boss fights.
